I grew up on the praries in saskatoon SK. Its as flat as people think. I once was caught in a cloud of grasshoppers while
out on my bike, its haunted me ever since! As a kid I was always around racecars thanks to my fathers love of mechanics
and motorsports. However for whatever reason I gravitated towards drawing, I believe its all because of spiderman, he
fascinated me in my youth, it was just too cool, the notion of swinging around while still wearing red and blue pajamas.
I still dig that idea and am still an avid reader of comics and graphic novels. I love sequential story telling.
That being said I am gonna build a hotrod one day.

I stayed in that small little city up into my early 20s, was very active in the mountain bike scene when it was still rather young.
There may not be any mountains but one would be surprised at the single track in that city, its excellent! I quit my thrilling job
of frontline cook and took up art school in Calgary AB. For 4 years I was in the illustration and design course at ACAD, met some
great people and did my best to learn from them. From there I was lucky enough to begin a carrer in video game art at the great company Bioware
in edmonton and held a position of art for 8 years before deciding to see what life is like in the westcoast.

Its great here, and best of all theres no clouds of grasshoppers.
